‘Final Major Project’(FMP) of my degree.

‘Beauty Unveiled’ is a collection that celebrates and promotes body positivity in women.

Drawing inspiration from the diverse real forms of women- embracing perceived ‘imperfections’,like wrinkles, cellulite, folds and stretch marks- I use knit to craft structural and textural pieces that honour and elevate these natural marks. Each design unveils imperfections as a powerful celebration of life’s journey.

Beauty Unveiled

Beautiful Brutalism

This collection showcases a luxury knitwear line, inspired by Brutalist Architecture and the innovative silhouettes of Iris Van Herpen.

My colour palette was derived from photographs of the Barbican and UEA campus building, capturing the contrast between the soft warmth of the sunset on the bold, angular concrete structures. This approach was translated into the collection through delicate stitches and refined yarns, paired with neutral tones, reflecting the exposed, raw beauty of Brutalism through open knits.

This experience refined my ability to create sophisticated pieces and deepened my appreciation for how architecture can shape high-end design.
